Due to a low number of testers, Master Williams and Senior Masters Ensing and Lofquist have decided to cancel the September 10th Color Belt test.
Senior Master Ensing has scheduled a workshop for Orchard Hill church Saturday June 18, from 9:30am to noon. Basic kick is the focus. All belts are welcome to attend. Cost is 3$ ea.

We are back live for the 2022 State Games of Michigan tournament! Save the date – June 25! Our venue has changed and we will be hosting this event at Aquinas College, Sturrus Sports and Fitness Center, 1580 Fulton St. E., Grand Rapids, Mi 49506. Aquinas is a beautiful facility, close to downtown and minutes from 28th St.
Exciting news! Master Lemon Williams III will be the tournament director going forward in 2023! He has extensive expertise and experience in this area. Of course I will be staying on as a committee member to assist him.

The World Class Tae Kwon Do annual tournament is taking place ‘virtually’ via Zoom or Dropbox on November 13, 2021!!
Registration in now open at the following site: https://events.clearthunder.com/WCTKD21 You can load your videos until October 27th, 2021, end of day. Be sure to follow the directions so there are no issues with your entry.
Different events will be offered for the different levels or ranks.

To our extended Taekwondo family,
The Spring Kentucky Seminar was canceled due to the Covid-19 threat.
Out of an abundance of caution the World Class Tae Kwon Do board of directors has decided to cancel the Taekwondo events at the upcoming June 2020 State Games of Michigan. The State of Michigan is currently under a stay at home order and schools have been ordered closed for the remainder of the school year. With the continued spread of the coronavirus in Michigan and the US this decision was reached in an effort to minimize the risks of infection to all Taekwondo participants and their families and friends. We are also mindful that regular classes have been forbidden, so practitioners’ normal practice and tournament preparation routines have been impossible. This adds risk of injuries to conducting the tournament.
As of this week, classes at Frontline Bible Church and the Spartan-Nash YMCA have been canceled for the next few weeks. Also, the upcoming test on March 21 has been canceled along with the Kentucky Seminar. If any other instructors would like to list their cancellations here please feel free to contact me.
